The International Convention and Exhibition Center hosts many events every year, and compared to other expos, the Travel Expo is well worth a visit. It primarily promotes the tourism resources of various provinces, and the booths are strikingly designed with a technological feel.
At the Xiamen Jianfa International Travel booth, a dancing robot attracted many people to take photos, and I stood there for quite a while. Various booths offered performances and games, such as Jianfa’s sandbag-throwing event, where they gave away cultural and creative shopping bags, and the large turntable at the Jimei Study Tour booth. Each exhibition area is unique and worth exploring, including food displays and tastings.
The Travel Expo is not only a trading platform, but also a showcase for culture and experience.
As a manufacturer of intelligent audio guides, participating in this exhibition has given us many reflections and insights:
- Developing customized commentary packages for different scenic spots and cultural themes (such as “Ancient Architecture In-Depth Tour,” “Food Discovery,” and “Folklore Storyline”). Inviting historians, cultural figures, and local influencers to provide recordings will enhance the authoritativeness and interest of the content. 2. Transform dry historical dates and data into vivid stories, legends, and anecdotes. Allow visitors to absorb knowledge and connect emotionally through the stories.
- Audio guides alone are no longer sufficient; they must be integrated with cutting-edge technology to create a comprehensive audio-visual experience. Using AR glasses, visitors will automatically overlay a restored 3D image of the ancient ruins while simultaneously listening to the commentary through their headphones.

The Xiamen Straits Travel Expo serves as a mirror, reflecting the future of China’s tourism industry, which will be experiential, intelligent, international, and diversified. For the Yingmi intelligent audio guide, future competition will no longer be based on hardware specifications, but rather on a comprehensive approach combining the depth of cultural content, technological innovation, and breadth of scenario coverage.
